Sumatra Lintong Sigumpar

Whole Bean Coffee

Price range: $22.00 through $35.00

This Sumatra comes from smallholder farms in Sigumpar Village in the Lintong Nihuta growing area near Lake Toba. Coffees from this region are shaped by traditional wet hulled processing, which gives them their signature weighty body, low acidity, and deep sweetness.

In the cup, this coffee opens with a smooth palm sugar sweetness and rich cacao nib depth. While often described as earthy, that character shows up here as a pleasant, herbaceous sweetness that feels clean and balanced rather than heavy or rustic. The result is a grounded, comforting cup with a syrupy mouthfeel and a softly aromatic finish.

This coffee is highly versatile across roast styles and brew methods. At light to medium roasts, it highlights sweetness and texture with quiet complexity. Taken a bit darker, it becomes richer and bolder while maintaining a smooth, approachable profile. It performs beautifully as drip, French press, moka pot, or a dense, chocolate leaning espresso.
