Ethiopia Guji Gerba Dogo

This washed Ethiopian coffee comes from Gerba Dogo, a buying site and farm area near Dogo Sodu town in Guji. The coffee is connected to Morkata Shonora and the Shonora family, a key source for coffees from the region. Farms in this high-altitude zone stretch beyond 2,200 meters, producing dense Ethiopian landrace coffees known for aromatic clarity and lively sweetness. After pulping, the coffee is fermented overnight in cement tanks, washed, and dried in thin layers on raised beds in full sun.In the cup, this lot shows the refined, floral, and bright character that makes washed Guji coffees so appealing. It is especially expressive at light to medium roasts, where the delicate aromatics, juicy acidity, and clean sweetness can shine. It should do beautifully as a pour over or filter brew, while still offering plenty of character for anyone who enjoys a brighter, more nuanced everyday cup.
