This naturally processed coffee comes from smallholder producers in Costa Rica’s Tarrazú region, with ripe red cherries delivered to the San Diego Mill. The cherries were carefully selected and dried with the fruit intact, allowing the coffee to develop a lively sweetness and distinctive natural process character.
The finished cup is bright and polished, with a smooth medium body, balanced acidity, and a clean, tea-like finish. It has an expressive fruit character supported by deep sweetness and gentle structure.
A light to medium roast will emphasize its clarity and aromatics. This coffee is particularly well suited to pour over brewing, where its layered character can shine, while batch brew brings out a fuller and more approachable expression.
