Yemen Mokha Matari

Whole Bean Coffee

Price range: $26.00 through $43.00

This limited lot comes from small hillside farms in the Bani Matar region near Sana’a, where heirloom coffee still grows on ancient stone terraces. Naturally dried in the sun and cultivated at extreme altitude, it captures the depth and heritage that made Yemen one of coffee’s earliest and most revered origins.

This is the same Mokha that gave the world its first coffee blend, the legendary Mokha Java, where rich, full-bodied beans from Yemen met the brighter island coffees of Indonesia. In this single origin form, the character is even more captivating, with layered sweetness, gentle spice, and a lush, lingering finish that speaks of centuries of tradition.

Enjoy it from light to dark roast levels, as this coffee holds its structure beautifully even when taken deep. It offers remarkable complexity across pour over, filter, and espresso. A coffee steeped in history and endlessly rewarding in the present.
